Licensed audit firm · Al Garhoud, Dubai
Audits that hold up under scrutiny.
Independent statutory, free zone and Corporate Tax audits for UAE businesses. We follow International Standards on Auditing and report in plain language, so your shareholders, bank and regulators can rely on the numbers.
Why audit with Vigilant
An audit should tell you something you didn't already know.
Many audits end with a signature and nothing else. We treat each engagement as an independent check on how your business actually runs. You get an opinion your stakeholders can rely on, plus clear findings that make next year's books stronger.
- Independent by design. We only audit. We never prepare the books we sign off on.
- One point of contact. The same person handles your engagement from planning to sign-off.
- Fixed fees. Your fee is agreed in the engagement letter before work starts.
- Deadline-driven. We plan backwards from your licence renewal, bank or FTA date.

How we work
Five steps, with no surprises at the end
- 1
Scope & engagement
We start with a short call about your business, your deadline and who will rely on the report. You then receive a fixed-fee proposal and an engagement letter that sets out responsibilities.
- 2
Planning & risk assessment
We study your industry, systems and prior-year issues, set materiality and pick the areas that need the most testing.
- 3
Fieldwork
We send a clear request list, then carry out the testing on-site or remotely: confirmations, vouching, analytics and stock attendance where needed.
- 4
Findings & clearance
Nothing in our report will surprise you. We discuss proposed adjustments and control points with management before anything is finalised.
- 5
Report & management letter
You receive the signed auditor's report and financial statements, plus a management letter with practical recommendations.
Industries
We know where the risk sits in your sector
A restaurant's risks are not a distributor's, and a clinic's are not a developer's. We plan each audit around the balances and processes that matter most in your sector.

Questions
Common audit questions
Don't see your question? Call us on +971 55 773 4640 or send us a message on WhatsApp.
Is an audit mandatory for my company?
In many cases, yes. UAE mainland companies are generally required to appoint an auditor, most free zones require audited financial statements for licence renewal, and Corporate Tax rules require them for businesses above AED 50m revenue and for Qualifying Free Zone Persons. Tell us your licence type and we will confirm what applies.
How long does an audit take?
It depends on the size of the business and how ready its records are. For an SME with closed books and organised supporting documents, fieldwork is often completed in one to three weeks. We give you a timetable before we start.
What will you need from us?
Usually your trial balance and general ledger, bank statements and reconciliations, sales and purchase invoices, key contracts, the fixed asset register, inventory records, and your trade licence and MOA. We send a tailored request list at the start of each engagement.
How are your fees set?
Fees depend on scope: revenue, transaction volume, number of entities and locations, and the state of your records. We quote a fixed fee in the engagement letter, so you know the cost before we begin.
Our books aren't up to date. Can you still help?
Professional independence rules stop us from preparing the accounts we audit. We'll tell you what needs to be completed before the audit, and you or your accountant can close the books.
Can you work remotely?
Yes. Most testing can be done on securely shared data. We attend in person for stock counts, cash counts and walkthroughs where they add value.
